UC San Diego CRLP’s study sessions on the NEW 2017 CA Dyslexia Guidelines.

Our facilitated Part I study session will go over:

  • Familiarity with the 2017 California Dyslexia Guidelines
  • A 21st Century Definition of Dyslexia
  • An Understanding of the Neuroscience of Dyslexia
  • Knowledge of the Signs of Dyslexia in Children and Adolescents
  • Resources to Share with Teachers, Administrators, Students, & Parents

Our facilitated Part II study session will go over:

  • Study Dyslexia in English Learners
  • Study Screening and Assessment
  • Experience several high-impact Effective Approaches for Teaching Students with Dyslexia
  • Review the 21st Century Definition of Dyslexia
  • Continue to become familiar with the 2017 CA California Dyslexia Guidelines statewide document
  • Continue to develop an understanding of the neuroscience of dyslexia
